Reel Time was helping Visit Scotland entertain a delegation of journalists, event bookers and other MICE professionals at Stirling castle.  16th May 2011. Reel Time mini Adventure

Reel Time entertained 42 mini enthusiasts on the 29th April 2011 at Marlins Wynd restaurant in Edinburgh.  They had been touring around Scotland in their classic Minis, and were looking for a Real Scottish Experience as a grand finale. We were up at the Old Course Hotel on Tuesday for a fantastic event run by Visit Scotland  for their Scotland Means Business workshop. 150 companies from all over the world converged on Fairmont Hotel for face to face meetings, networking and of course a VIP Scottish themed gala dinner (held down the road at the Old Course) Roddy Deans was comparing the event, introducing Bagpipers, celtic dancers and of course the energetic Reel Time Ceilidh Band. Reel Time Ceilidh Band and Roddy the Piper were delighted to be invited to play at this year’s Visit Scotland Business Tourism unit  Gala Dinner at Brigadoon.  Invited were 150 event organisers, hotel managers, DMC companies and tour operators.  The band played a 30 minute set after dinner which got guests arm in arm.  Great comments from everyone, including newly appointed Chairman of Visit Scotland Michael Cantlay "Thanks so much for playing at this highly prestigious event for Visit Scotland". Reel Time Events got asked for an X factor style kilt dressing session to form a part of a mini indoor highland games.  The clients wanted some fun and interactive challenges that teams could compete in to collect the prizes. McEwan hall, 230 guests enjoyed a Whisky tasting experience in one of Edinburgh University’s most stunning buildings as part of their social program for their conference. We brought in a couple of our friends from Mellis cheesemonger, who served up a great selection of Scottish cheeses.  Helping us to promote responsible drinking. We returned To Edinburgh University’s Play fair library for a whisky tasting experience for the Conference of Bibliographers. Edinburgh Conference Whisky tasting

Reel Time entertained the 2010 Nanotoxicology conference with a Whisky tasting for their 340 guests at Edinburgh City Chambers. We set up 4 Whisky stalls each of which was manned by a passionate whisky taster, who advised and entertained guests as they enjoyed a range of fantastic malt whiskies. One of our highland bagpipers welcomed and entertained guests on their arrival
