The Reel Time Band were requested to come and help put some Disney PIXAR Magic into the international press junket for the upcoming BRAVE movie all about Scotland.

We helped run the full programme of evening entertainment for the internationally invited VIP guests for our client, Partisan Events, who was running the event production of the entire 3 days of events.

Reel Time Events provided everything they needed to make their Prestonfield gala dinner a fantastic event full of music and dance.

Our piper for the night, Lorne MacDougall, who is 2 times Young Traditional Scottish Musician of the year finalist and features on the new BRAVE soundtrack. So we brought him in for the ceremonial piping in of the haggis.

Comparing duties were handled by Reel Time md Roddy Deans, who recited a memorable address to a haggis, as well as keeping the flow of the evening going.

Later in the evening Julie Fowlis performed some of the songs that feature on the BRAVE soundtrack, which were listened to by an admiring audience.

After dinner, the guests were treated to a display performance of some traditional highland dances, including the sword dance and highland fling, by our 10 dancers.  This whetted their appetite for some ceilidh participation, which went on into the wee small hours.

The ceilidh band chosen for the evenings entertainment was the Reel Time Band, 6 piece, who filled the event with their brand of funky rocking ceilidh music.  Keeping the contemporary edge that Pixar wanted on the event.

It was an absolute pleasure helping put this event together with Partisan Events, and delighting the Disney guests. FINIX were great for sound and lighting production, Prestonfield was a stunning setting for their activities.
