Last weekend Reel Time Events were pleased to provide the finest Scottish entertainment for a meetings and incentive trip. The client, an international cosmetic brand, was keen to entertain their high achieving sales team. Arranged through Cashel Travel, the guests enjoyed a day of Highland Games Activities in the luxury surroundings of Ferniehirst Castle. Reel Time Events organised an afternoon of fun and challenging activities including Caber Tossing, Scots Hammer Throwing and Welly Wanging. While this may sound like a physically challenging day, the Falconry Display, Bagpipe Lessons and Archery helped guests recover in between the more competitive activities. Reel Time Events organised entertainment in the Glasgow Science Centre for the Best Western’s conference who are adopting the slogan ‘Make the Magic Happen.’ The conference brought together staff hotel industry for the opportunity to indulge in an evening of entertainment and networking opportunities. Tartanium Band play Hampden Stadium Conference; Ceilidh and Pop

Tartanium before they go on stage at Hampden Stadium. Hampden Stadium was rocking this weekend to the sound of Tartanium, Scotland’s up and coming bag-rock band. Performing at Scotland’s National Stadium, Tartanium played for 15 minutes of traditional Scottish music in a modern rock style. Roddy left the sunny shores of Scotland for the bright lights of Las Vegas last week. Travelling with Visit Scotland to the IMEX American Convention Roddy helped share Scotland’s culture and tradition with the USA. IMEX is the largest conference for the MICE industry (meetings, incentives, conferences and events) representing 148 countries and 2,400 hosted buyers. Visit Scotland travelled to Las Vegas to showcase Scotland’s tourism industry; it was a great opportunity to display Scotland’s potential to representatives from around the world. Reel Time Events is a whisky tasting company based in Edinburgh.  We were asked to put on a Whisky tasting for a health and safety conference dinner. We arrived at the Hilton in Glasgow while the guests were enjoying their dinner. Setting up the Whisky stations in a room adjacent to the dining guests. It was a pleasure to work this week with the board of directors from Moet Hennessey, who were up in Edinburgh for a conference.  They were looking for some teambuilding challenges to take place the day before the conference started. Reel Time had a wonderful night at Kelvingrove on Tuesday, entertaining the VIP guests of Visit Scotland. We had a bagpiper welcoming the guests to the fantastic Glasgow venue.  Roddy Deans was compering the event and addressed the haggis, while the Reel Time Ceilidh Band was on hand to give its funky brand of ceilidh music for guests to let their hair down.  Later in the evening, the great Rodolpho performed some Aerial hoop, and silk performances.
