The Scottish small pipes are a beautiful bellows blown instrument, similar to Northumbrian pipes. Their sound is made for chamber playing, as a background sound rather than their louder highland cousins. So they are suited well to give a Scottish atmosphere for wedding ceremonies and intimate wedding dinners.
Sometimes for larger groups, the pipes are played through a PA system and duets with clarsach or guitarist can be arranged to provide a great swing to your wedding music. We can also provide pipers who play Uilleann pipes.
