The tradition of ceilidh dancing has been established across the ages. It is a good way of getting guests dancing and interacting with each other at your function.
The ceilidh bands we provide are seasoned professionals, playing through quality P.A. (speaker) systems. All bands come with a ceilidh dance caller, to talk guests through the dances, so ceilidh rookies and seasoned professionals can have an equally enjoyable time.
The bands come anywhere from a three-seven piece setup, depending on your budget. The instruments usually played include. Accordion, bagpipes, fiddle, drums and keyboards. If you have a particular penchant for another instrument, we can bring in gusts musicians to play with most bands. The bands play all the traditional favorites, including Gay Gordon’s, Dashing White Sergeant, Eightsome Reel, Canadian Barn dance, to name but a few.
